The new 3DEXPERIENCE R2015x release was promoted to GA (general availability) on Friday February 20th, 2015 for on-premise installation. The Cloud platform was switched to R2015x level on Monday February 23rd, 2015.

- A new delivery model, the "Private Cloud" in addition to the "On Premise" and "Public Cloud " offerings. The scope for cloud use in our customers has significantly increased as we have almost doubled to 115 the number available roles compared to the previous release.
- 3DEXPERIENCE R2015x, introduces significant packaging simplification, aligned with our Industry Solution Strategy. Inside each Industry Solution Experience and Industry Process Experience, customers can order the relevant Roles for their users. Each Role is designed to support specific usage scenarios, and provides logical groupings of Brand applications addressing the broad set of activities that users need to accomplish the tasks they perform.
