QUALIFICATIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
--The ability to read and write documents in English is a must.
--Email correspondence about technical issue in English is necessary. (Required writing level: CET 6 and above)
--English Speaking and listening should satisfy the basic requirement of the job.
-- Must be well experienced in computer aided drafting and computer function in general. Software will be a combination of Autodesk products both Autocad and Inventor, also knowing Tekla is preferred.
-- Must have working knowledge of office procedure, including drawing and part numbering systems.
-- Three (3) years engineering design and metal trades experience necessary.
-- Engineering Certificate desirable but not essential.
-- Experience in working to international drafting standards would be regarded well but not required.
-- Drafting standards and templates will be provided and are to be strictly followed.
POSITION OBJECTIVES:
To assist in the development of new or updated products with details provided in English. All drawings to be part numbered, effectively accounted for and properly stored. The draftsperson will be in contact with local suppliers throughout Asia and internal company clients based in Australia. Often drawings will need to be recreated to accommodate Chinese manufacturing requirements and practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES/AUTHORITY:
1. Working from layouts, sketches or other means of instruction in English, make drawings of designs or components as required. Initial customer liaison will be required.
2. Ensure that as much as possible, all designs are suitable for being made at the chosen supplier with available equipment and methods.
3. Ensure that new and altered designs satisfy the requirements of economy, quality, reliability and maintainability.
4. Using his skills and experience, assist company and supplier personnel as required by providing information that can be best found or resolved by engineering drafting techniques.
5. Record and correct any design errors and carry out any design improvements, which may need attention form time to time.
6. Relay, per the document transmittal requirements of the Quality System, any changes or information to clients or others who may need to know.
7. Be responsible for the day to day numbering, recording and governing of the Nepean part numbering system, and also the administration of the general drawing information system.
8. Assist for the manufacturing process as required, i.e. drawing necessary profile templates, rests, tooling aids and the like.
9. Change relevant drawings after trial, to either improve product appearance and operation or to customer request, adhering to relevant standards.
估计是抄外国图纸的吧。必须英语好。。 {:3_47:}哎，英语不行！其他条件还是基本满足 3年工作经验，6级英语。。。。。。 外贸公司的改图或者出图。要求不高。不过很烦琐。 基本上就是英语，画图软件，三年机械行业经验，其他的都不用了，都有模板和标准。
