美国大学不设工程力学砖业？

有位90后小朋友想去美国读本科，咨询读什么砖业，建议工程力学
小朋友一查，美国大学竟无该砖业
怎么回事？难道只能读物理？太理论化了

米国大学没有中国大学专业分科细，类似于国内49年以前的模式，国内好多专业它都没有，

工作也一样，许多国内专业它也没有，大型工程公司也不过就几个专业，比如机械，自动化，流体，电力等，国内设计院有些设数十个科室，分工非常细致，

其中，工程力学应该是算在里面的一门课。比如机械工程师资格里有：
